The Whole Story: Browse this expanding collection of resources, presented by SPJ's Diversity Committee. Articles include how to cover poverty, how to turn unfamiliar territory into common ground, and what diversity really means to a working journalist. The latest edition: What's in a name? Reporting on the same-sex marriage debate. Diversify your reporting by visiting www.spj.org/divws.asp.

Journalism Blogs: To keep members apprised of current events in journalism, SPJ hosts a selection of blogs on spj.org. National President Christine Tatum authors "Freedom of the Prez." National Freedom of Information Chairman Joel Campbell discusses a current round-up of FOI issues on FOI FYI. The National Diversity Committee maintains, "Who's News?" Also online, SPJ Member Jon Marshall highlights the best in American journalism on "News Gems." All blogs can be viewed at www.spj.org/spjblogs.asp.

Regional Reports: To give members a better idea of what the Society has accomplished and is planning around the country, the national board of directors began filing monthly reports on spj.org. The first reports were posted in November with interesting tidbits about members and with spectacular program ideas. Check out the report from your area at www.spj.org/rreports.asp.

Journalism Events Calendar: To offer chapters opportunities to post their local programs, the Society organized an online calendar of events. …
