Surprisingly, in its minimum configuration as a simple zoom control, the LCS is priced competitively with other control products which don't offer these capabilities or potential for expansion.

The LCS's microprocessor controls make it easy to set a specific range or speed for any move. All commands are repeatable, easily changed, and precise. You can vary the range of a zoom between two specific points so that you never "miss" or overshoot a mark. You can preset the range of a focus knob to hit two defined points every time. The LCS is assistant friendly, since it puts complete lens control at the assistant's fingertips.

Commercial customers are finding the optional LCS Memory Module invaluable for product and tabletop work, since it can record and play back sequences of moves in single, double, or triple axis format. This means that shots requiring complex lens changes can be rehearsed, recorded, and executed with ease.
