The description above is so typical of all the other descriptions of Eastwood in this seemingly straightforward biography that they would be monotonous if they didn't ring true. It's obviously an authorized tome and, as such, probably suffered deletions, but the incidents of Eastwood's life and his relationships with men and women alike, as recorded here, reveal an admirable character whose loyalty to friends, crews and family cannot but engage the reader. …
