Inference Data announced that Lou Andreozzi has joined the company as CEO.

Most recently, Andreozzi was president and CEO of LexisNexis North American Legal Markets, a division of Reed Elsevier. While in that position, he was responsible for broadening the company's print and online research products to a full range of legal tools and services. Before that, he was president of Martindale-Hubbell, where he led the efforts to create the online resource lawyers.com. Previously, he held several positions at Reed Elsevier, including general counsel of LexisNexis.

Andreozzi holds a B.A. from Rutgers University and a J.D. from Seton Hall School of Law.

Wolters Kluwer Health announced the appointment of Mark Spiers as president and CEO of its healthcare analytics business unit. Spiers has more than 25 years of experience in the healthcare analytics business. He has held positions at companies such as MedPointe Pharmaceuticals, Pharmacia, and Bristol-Myers Squibb Co. He is a former member of The National Association of Chain Drug Stores advisory board and the Foundation of Managed Care Pharmacy. He is also a former member of the board of the National Pharmaceutical Council and the Australian Pharmaceutical Manufacturers Association. He is a graduate of Austin College in Sherman, Texas.

Nstein Technologies announced that Luc Filiatreault is its new president and CEO.

Most recently, Filiatreault was president and CEO of PG Mensys Information Systems. Prior to that, he incorporated NordTech Aerospace, which was renamed ExelTech Aerospace. Before that, he was president of BellZinc, a subsidiary of Bell Canada. Previously, he was co-founder of Informission Group, which was acquired by Quebecor and renamed Nurun. Filiatreault is a director of Nurun, ExelTech Aerospace, and Optosecurity and is the chairman of the board of Inerlogic. He graduated from Laval University (Quebec City) with a degree in engineering physics.

In a separate release, Nstein Technologies announced that Marie-Josée Métivier has been appointed senior vice president of sales and marketing.

Prior to this, Métivier was vice president of U.S. sales and marketing at PG Govern, which was acquired by Constellation Software. While there, she set up a new subsidiary in Japan and spearheaded the acquisition and integration of a Brazilian distributor for a Quebec-based software organization. She also held positions as vice president of sales at Informission Group (now Nurun) and Tecsys.

Nayatek announced the appointment of Peter Eicher as senior product manager.

Most recently, Eicher was senior product manager for forefront security solutions at Microsoft. While there, he was responsible for positioning, presenting, and demonstrating antivirus and anti-spam software solutions and working with engineering to define next-generation products. Before that, he was the senior product manager at Sybari Software, where he was responsible for product management and marketing for its line of anti-spam solutions. Eicher's previous experience includes positions at companies such as Falcon-Stor Software, Cheyenne, Lucent Technologies, Ascend Communications, and Computer Associates. …
