Bradley B. Six, who has been working in the film industry for 25 years, is one of two directors of photography newly elected to membership by the ASC. Six came up through the ranks working for such cinema masters as Jack Swain, ASC, Jerry Finnerman, ASC, and William Spencer, ASC. Son of still photographer Bert Six, his credits include A Man Called Sloan, Barnaby Jones, and The A-Team. Six's most recent assignment has been on Trapper John, M.D. for 20th Century Fox.

Also recently voted to membership in the ASC is director of photography John Charles Hora. Hora first garnered notices for his work on The Howling in 1980 and in continued association with director Joe Dante, he has photographed a segment of Twilight Zone: The Movie, Gremlins, and the summer feature, Explorers. Hora is a California native and a graduate of the USC film school. Originally given the chance to do screen writing, Hora turned down the desk in favor of life behind the camera. …
