Members of the A.S.C. and their guests enjoyed dinner, dancing and entertainment at the annual "gala affair" on January 12 at the Bel-Air Country Club.

During the evening, the roll of Oscar and Emmy nominees was called, and special certificates of achievement were presented. Entertainment for the evening included songs from the 40s by Patti Andrews (of the famous Andrews Sisters) accompanied by her husband, WaIIy Weschler at the piano. Manny Harmon and his orchestra also played for dancing.

Special tribute was paid to the widows of four great cinematographers-Mrs. John Seitz, Mrs. Wmton Hoch, Mrs. Arthur Miller, and Mrs. Leon Shamroy.

Newly elected president of the A.S.C., Stanley Cortez, chaired the event and acknowledged the outgoing president, William A. Fraker.

Other officers elected for 1985 include Leonard South, 1st vice president; Harry Wolf, 2nd vice president; Ted Voigtlander, 3rd vice president; Joseph Westheimer, treasurer; Alfred Keller, secretary and Henry Freulich, sergeant-at-arms.
