I like standards and wish more Web developers did. The author of this book believes in standards and shows the correct way to use HTML and style sheets to achieve accessible, standards- based Web sites. The book is based upon and built from the popular HTML Dog Web site (www.htmldog.com), maintained by the author, who is a well-respected Web developer and designer. He has a nice, clear style and explains his topic in a friendly and engaging way. There are many screen shots and sidebars to help make points clear and to provide the little tips that it usually takes years of coding to learn. Just his shortcuts and suggestions make this book worthwhile.
