When this disc arrived for review it almost didn't even get noticed. First of all, the personnel were all unknown to me and secondly nearly all the tunes were also unknown. It may have been a good thing though, as I had no preconceived idea of what I was about to experience. That experience was quite pleasant. Ms. Sandvik not only arranged the tunes but she is credited with composing 6 of the 11 as well. Her writing is intelligent and logical. Her vocals are all in English save for one tune, which I assume is in Norwegian. That tune, "Tuareaue E Nago, is the most modern of the CD also. It has some complex harmonies and much of it was performed in a minor key. …
