Russell Malone has talent to spare but only displays enough to do the job. The man is a class act. The trio working with him is also very talented if not as well known. Put the four together in this great New York City Club and it had to be an experience for anyone present. It is an experience for anyone fortunate enough to obtain this disc. I played a couple of tracks for a guitar friend of mine and he just shook his head and asked how one person can do all that. It is done and performed live, so no gimmicks in overdubbing etc.

Four of the tunes are originals with one of the four credited to all the quartet members - "Don't Point That Over Here" which just happens to be my favorite track on the disc. …
