It should be quite obvious that the tunes on this CD were associated with the Original Dixieland Jass Band. That is, save one, Nasty Rag. Another fact is that this disc has four tracks (the last four on the CD) that were not issued before, which give us another 15 plus minutes of music. Believe me, these four tracks are every bit as good as the issued ones. The other eight tunes saw the light of day as World Pacific WP1292 back in late 50's.

I like the lineup of talent here. Rex Stewart does show up on a few other albums of this same period but except for some appearances when Eddie Condon had the Town Hall Concerts, I do not know of any association with the Condon Mob. …
