This contemporary sextet is based in Finisterre (Brittany), North-West France, and the CD has come my way from our new member in Normandy, Lucien Jamet, who aims to keep me up to date with the jazz scene in his country. It is a good example of Anglo-French collaboration, with four natives and two resident British musicians.

I resisted the urge to straighten out the titles, which are printed as above. The group's website is colorful, illuminating and quite hilarious. Be sure to type in only www.goodtimejazz.net and have the sound on for the musical examples.
