Alice Kurtz Named American Star of Teaching

SNA Recognizes Innovation Incubators

The Software & Information Industry Association (SNA) identified 12 startup technology projects as 2008 Innovation Incubators. The honorées include prerevenue companies, nonprofit groups, R&D agencies, and academic institutions. CoSN Launches 'Green' Initiative

The Consortium for School Networking (CoSN) launched a Green Computing Leadership Initiative designed to help schools and school districts identify ways to reduce their carbon footprints. The new project provides K-1 2 technology leaders with resources, tips, and tools focused on three major topic areas - technology energy use, green computing purchase and disposal, and waste reduction and the saving of natural resources.
