Let's face it: We live in the best place on Earth. It's no surprise that in choosing "The West's 20 Best Small Towns" (March, page 62), we couldn't include them all

We have real cowboys and cowgirls; a thriving farmers' market; a biodiesel and sunflower-oil manufacturer nearby; skiing at five resorts; horses perhaps second in population, with deer and elk a close third; fantastic rafting and kayaking rivers; a four-year college with a top-ranked women's basketball team; Native American culture and casinos, a Cinco de Mayo festival; and a small-town atmosphere my wife says is "perfect." -KELLUS SEWELL
