The Therapist's Notebook for Children and Adolescents is a valuable guide to working with the population served by school psychologists. It encourages the therapist to step into the world of children of all ages and get in touch with their creativity and imagination. It is so important to understand how children feel and think and to communicate accordingly. The Notebook belongs in the toolbox of every therapist, student, or new graduate who is building skills and resources as well as the seasoned practitioner who needs to supplement an existing repertoire.

The Thempist'sNotebook includes chapters on feelings, play, specific problems, specific approaches, families, and parents. Each chapter is divided into objectives, rationale, instructions, vignettes, follow-up, contraindications, professional resources, and handouts.
