DR. CAMMY ABERNATHY has been appointed dean of the College of Engineering at the University of Florida. She is currently the associate dean for the Office of Academic Affairs and a professor of materials science in the engineering college. Abernathy received her bachelor's from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology, and a master's and doctorate from Stanford University.

DR. LOUIS CASAGRANDE has been appointed dean of the School of Education, Social Work, Child Life and Family Studies at Wheelock College (Mass.). He formerly was president and CEO of the Boston Children's Museum. Casagrande earned a bachelor's from Yale University, a master's from American University and a doctorate from the University of Minnesota.

DR. FENIOSKY PEÑA-MORA has been named dean of the Fu Foundation School of Engineering and Applied Science at Columbia University (N.Y.). Peña- Mora earned a bachelor's from Universidad Nacional Pedro Henriquez Ureña in the Dominican Republic, and a master's and Ph.D. from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology.

DR. SHERRIE GUERRERO has been named vice president of instruction at Chaffey College (Calif.). Guerrero earned an associate degree from San Bernardino Valley College, a bachelor's from California State University-San Bernardino, a master's from CSU-Fullerton and a doctorate from the University of Southern California.
