*MA/School Psychology Lecturer: Tufts University Department of Education seeks a fulltime lecturer for a two-year, renewable position in School Psychology. The starting date is September 1, 2010. An active record of professional School Psychology experience, a commitment to teaching, and a Doctoral degree in School Psychology or a closely related field at the time of the appointment are required. Preferable qualities of a successful candidate are: A solid background in School Psychology practice and related areas of research; University teaching experience; Active engagement in school psychology as a profession with a commitment to social justice, collaboration with teachers, and systemic change; Experience working with diverse populations and current models of school psychology practice. Citizenshipand public serviceare central to the mission of Tufts University. Tufts Department of Education (http://ase.tufts.edu/education) expands upon this mission through our Urban Teacher Training Collaborative and through the preparation of School Psychologists to work in urban, urban rim, suburban, and nontraditional environments. The successful candidate is expected to participate in the development of the School Psychology Program and other department programs and projects, particularly those involving urban practice; to advise students; and to teach courses offered to future school psychologists (http://ase.tufts.edu/education/programs/schoolPsych/index.asp), and to future teachers (http://ase.tufts.edu/education/programs/teacherPrep/index.asp). These courses may include psychological assessment and schoolbased intervention, lifespan development, educational research and research methods, professional issues in school psychology, and the supervision of field experiences. *MA/ Senior Faculty Member: The Massachusetts School of Professional Psychology in Boston seeks one junior and one core faculty member for its dynamic, practice-oriented School Psychology Program, which will begin offering the PsyD degree in Summer 2010. The program emphasizes integration of coursework and fieldwork, prevention, mental health, and social responsibility. Doctoral degree required; NCSP preferred. The ideal candidate has exemplary work experience as a school psychologist, and demonstrated skill in higher education teaching. Desired areas of expertise include consultation; psychoeducational and bilingual assessment and intervention; statistics and research methods; diversity and cross-cultural psychology; preschool services; and mental health policy and systems. …
