After recovering from a happy holiday vacation respite, many students, interns, and practitioners have the uncomfortable revelation that it is time to start looking for an internship or job placement. This can arouse quite a bit of panic, especially if it is the first time looking for a job in the real world. Fortunately, NASP has you covered on the Career Center page. Whether you are an intern or veteran school psychologist, the Career Center (http://www.nasp online.org/careers/index.aspx) has job listings, a place to post your résumé, and several helpful articles on how to look good to employers.

The Career Center has several options that can be selected to assist in your job search. As soon as you log in, there is a featured job listing that immediately pops up. You can also do a keyword search for jobs or browse all of the jobs listed with NASP. Browsing the job listings is easy because they are organized by category and state. While you are browsing, you can save job listings to come back to them. Even if you can't find a job by browsing, you can post your résumé and create a professional profile. This way, employers with future openings can find you!

The Job Agent is another way that you can stay in the job market without constantly browsing the job openings. …
