This is another interesting issue from fellow IAJRC member, Wayne Knight. The CD consists of two AFRS One Night Stand Programs which were probably recorded in June, 1959 and broadcast on September 25 and October 16, 1959. I think I am correct to say that this is the only recorded evidence we have of Bobby Hackett at the London House in Chicago about then.

Max Miller, not Britain's 'Cheeky Chappie' comic of the same name, was an unknown to me and as far as I can trace, he has hardly any recorded legacy. He made a 10 inch LP for Columbia in their Piano Moods series and is on a couple of tunes recorded at a private party with Sidney Bechet from 1944. …
