Chris Pasin is an interesting story. He entered the New England Conservatory following high school and upon graduation from there went into the Buddy Rich Big Band for a couple of years. Then he gigged around New York City and Boston area mostly until he had had it with the music scene. Then for the next 20 years or so he raised a family and now just within the last year or so is back on the scene again.

This CD on hand was recorded over 22 years ago and is now being issued for the first time. It is basically of the hard bop gender although the title tune is a beautiful ballad and the leader's tune all the way. …
