International School Psychology Association 2010 Conference in Ireland

The International School Psychology Association's (ISPA) 32nd annual conference will be in Dublin, Ireland July 20-24, 2010. The focus of the scientific program will be on "promoting the well-being of all children." The ISPA conference offers an opportunity to advance your knowledge related to school psychology as well as expand your international knowledge through exploring local cultural and historical sites.

The scientific program features several distinguished scholars, including Dr. Beth Doll, director of the school psychology program at the University of Nebraska Lincoln, who will share insights from her research addressing models of school mental health that foster resilience and enhance the well-being of students in naturally occurring communities, and program evaluation strategies that demonstrate impact and accountability of school mental health services. Dr. David Farington, professor of psychological criminology at Cambridge University, will share information from his studies of delinquency and criminal behavior over the life span. …
