NASP's second year of Hogging has been a success with the continuation of the NASP Advocacy, Early Career, School Psychologists-On the Job, and Response to Intervention blogs and the creation of the Convention and Graduate Students blogs, all available to members online. As we approach the new school year, we are beginning our search for a few good writers for our third year. The deadline for applications is July 1, 2010.

WHAT ARE WE LOOKING FOR?

For all our blogs, we are looking for talented writers who can post regularly (e.g., every 3-4 days) during their assignments. Depending on the applications we receive, we may ask two or three writers to share responsibility for a particular blog.

Early Career. Open to early career practitioners and/or a tandem of a supervisor and their early career employee. Writers should be able to contribute over the course of an academic year detailing some of the ups and downs of a school psychologist's first year or two of practice.

RTI. Open to practitioners or groups of practitioners who are establishing RTI in their school or district. Writers will detail their experiences with the process during an academic year. …
