Feminism has let me know that I'm not irrational and my mom isn't just annoying. We're feminists. And everyone else is stupid.

It turned out this kind of feminism was not enough when I joined the rugby team that fall, my sophomore year. I went from being afraid to be seen as too radical to a world in which I was perceived as too conservative. I wasn't feminist enough because I looked like a different stereotype - heteronormative.
