Free training for coaches and referees is one of the many benefits offered through NRPA's partnership with the American Youth Soccer Organization

SUMMER IS THE TRAINING SEASON for American Youth Soccer Organization (AYSO) leagues, including training for coaches, referees and even administrators. Free training for volunteers is one of the unique benefits that AYSO brings to its new partnership with the National Recreation & Parks Association. It is available in-person and online.

Through an innovative affiliate agreement, AYSO Soccer m a Box allows a local recreation and park department to become an AYSO league. Once it becomes an affiliate member of AYSO, the program adds resources to the department by incorporating trained and certified volunteers with its paid staff to expand the soccer programming it can offer.

Free coach, referee, and administrator training have been among the most valuable benefits for AYSO park and recreation department affiliates. AYSO coaches, referees and administrators also each have their own free weekly e-letter that continues after the course is over to inform, inspire and offer continuing education. …
