DR. ELÑORA TENA WEBB is president of Laney College (Calif.). Webb was vice president of instruction at Laney. She holds a bachelor's from the University of California, Riverside, a master's from San Francisco State University and doctorates from the University of California, Berkeley.

DR. RAFAEL L. BRAS has been named provost and executive vice president for academic affairs at Georgia Tech. Bras previously served as dean of the Henry Samueli School of Engineering at the University of California, Irvine. He earned a bachelor's, master's and doctorate from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology.

DR. FREDERICK R. CHANG has been named the AT&T Distinguished Chair in Infrastructure Assurance and Security in the College of Business at the University of Texas at San Antonio. Chang was the associate dean of information technology for the College of Natural Sciences at the University of Texas at Austin. He earned a bachelor's from the University of California, San Diego and a master's and doctorate from the University of Oregon.

CONNIE L COCHRAN is director of alumni relations at Texas Southern University. Cochran was director of alumni relations and special events at the College of Medicine at the University of Illinois at Chicago. She earned a bachelor's from TSU and a master's from Chicago State University.

DR. MELISSA E. EXUM has been named vice president for student affairs at Purdue University. Exum is associate vice chancellor of student affairs at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. …
