In this issue NCCET celebrates the 41st annual conference that was held in Miami, Florida. Award winners and their pictures are located toward the end of this issue. Be sure to look at the award winning programs. These are successful programs that you might find interesting with a thought to duplication. The award winners are listed and their presentations are available to review on the NCCET website. Take advantage of successful programs and look for ways to implement in your area.

There is an article submitted for the "College Sharing Corner". Be sure to check that out. The Catalyst is always happy to publish short items of interest to our members in that section. If you had a project that was successful, a new program that could be of use to others, or a process that works really well for continuing education, community services or customized training be sure to send it in for publication. By sharing here, you don't always have to wait for good ideas until the next conference.

And, speaking of the next conference; NCCET will be jointly sharing that conference with NCWE (National Council for Workforce Education). The two councils wanted to share a conference which celebrates our common goals and allows our members to learn from each other. The conference will be in St. Louis. Check out the announcement page in this issue.

An NCCET White Paper is published here entitled: "Incubating Credit Courses in Continuing Education". With resources becoming so limited and still the need for community colleges to grow to meet the demand for new workforce programs in their community; this paper is offered as a way to expand offerings and grow programs in a manner that provides revenue for the development and expansion. …
