ProQuest Information and Learning has announced the addition of Kluwer Academic Publishers (KAP) and Palgrave Macmillan, Ltd. content to its periodicals databases. The company also announced the completion of the Acta Sanctorum resource in electronic format.

ProQuest's agreement with KAP will bring the full text of 125 scientific, technical, and medical business and economics journals to the company's online databases, including the ABI/INFORM business periodicals database. ProQuest will distribute KAP's journal content to educational institutions, libraries, and other markets around the world. Current coverage, including both indexing and full text for the titles, will appear in ABI/INFORM Global, ABI/INFORM Research, ABI/INFORM Complete, and ProQuest 5000.

Key titles include Journal of Business Ethics, Journal of Consumer Policy, Journal of Economic Growth, Journal of Financial Services Research, Journal of Productivity Analysis, The Journal of Real Estate Finance and Economics, Journal of Regulatory Economics, Journal of Risk and Uncertainty, and many more. With these additions, ABI/INFORM Global now offers users access to the full text of more than 900 business journals.

In addition, the agreement grants ProQuest rights to digitize full-run backfiles (from the first issue forward) of several titles for distribution as part of ABI/INFORM. The digitization schedule will be announced in coming months.

Palgrave Macmillan

ProQuest's agreement with Palgrave Macmillan will bring the full text of 11 academic journals to the company's periodicals databases. Business titles that will be added to ABL/INFORM include Journal of the Operational Research Society, Asian Business & Management, and European Journal of Information Systems.

Social sciences titles that will be added to various ProQuest databases include Feminist Review, Information Visualization, International Journal of Maritime Economics, Urban Design International, Comparative European Politics, and the forthcoming Contemporary Political Theory, French Politics, and Latino Studies. …
