Infonautics Adds New Features to Turnkey Publishing Product

Infonautics, Inc. has announced the addition of Today's News Retriever, Headline Browser, and Lookout to EPPDirect, its digital, online archival service for publishers and other content creators. Infonautics has launched these features on Newsday's archive newspaper Web site, The Library (http:library.news day.com). These three features allow users to do personalized searches and access current news from an online archived news site.

Today's News Retriever expands an online archive by allowing users to retrieve current articles and headlines from the past 7 days. Headline Browser allows users to retrieve current articles and headlines from past years. Lookout keeps a "watch" for a user's special-interest current news topics and delivers a personalized online newspaper.

"By adding Today's News features to EPP-Direct, Infonautics has enhanced the user's new media experience-providing quick retrieval of current or past news from one location," said Jim Beattie, vice president and general manager of new media services at Infonautics, Inc.
