Festival Scope Builds on Locarno Partnership

Online industry platform Festival Scope is working with the Locarno film festival for the second year, with new content offered in 2011.

This year Festival Scope will include Locarno's Competition for first and second features, Filmmakers of the Present. Those films include The Strawberry Tree by Simone Rapisarda, Mr. Tree by Han Jie, Nana by Valerie Massadian, Senorita by Vincent Sandoval, The Color Wheel by Alex Perry and Without by Mark Jackson. They will be on Festival Scope for registered users, but after official premieres in Locarno.

Also, Festival Scope again hosts content for Locarno's Open Doors co-production market -- potential co-producers can screen previous films from this year's participants. This year's focus is India.
