Voltage Pictures Expects Sparks to Fly with Imogene

Heading into Toronto, Nicolas Chartier's financing, production and sales company has picked up international sales on the hotly anticipated Kristen Wiig project.

Imogene marks the first feature to emerge from Celine Rattray and Trudi Styler's New York-based Maven Pictures. Anonymous Content is also on board. UTA represents North American rights.

Nadine de Barros negotiated the deal and acquired the project on behalf of Voltage, whose slate includes Voltage and Wildwood Enterprises' The Company You Keep, the long gestating political thriller that starts shooting in September. Robert Redford will direct and star opposite Sundance breakout Brit Marling and Shia LaBeouf.

The sales roster includes Toronto entries Killer Joe and Peace, Love & Misunderstanding, as well as high school reunion story Ten Years starring Channing Tatum, Rosario Dawson and Justin Long. …
