Inside Pictures' New Class Includes Bray, Hunt, Van Weede

Article excerpt

For the first time this year the film business training programme was fully open to all members of the EU.

Now in its 8th year, Inside Pictures, the film business training programme run by Michael Kuhn's Qwerty Pictures and the National Film And Television School (NFTS), has announced the 15 producers and executives who will take part in the 2011 edition.

They will take part in three intensive modules, one of which will consist of a week of meetings with senior executives in Los Angeles from Sept 19-23.

For the first time this year Inside Pictures is to be fully open to all members of the EU, as opposed to just the UK, thanks to an injection of funding from the MEDIA Programme. The initiative is also funded by Skillset.

Speakers during the programme will include Working Title's Tim Bevan, Wild Bunch's Vincent Grimond, writer/director Asif Kapadia, and Paramount's president Andrew Cripps.

The 15 participants are:

Wolfgang Behr, Producer & Shareholder, Neue Bioskop Film (Germany)

Thomas Benski, Producer & Managing Director, Pulse Films (France/Brazil)

Camilla Bray, Producer, Sixteen Films (UK)

Leon Clarance, CEO, Motion Picture Capital (UK)

Bert Hamelinck, Producer & Managing Director, Caviar (Belgium)
