Gabriel Gornell and Colleen Seldin's New York-based Locomotive Distribution has launched a new genre label, Firebox.

The first Firebox title, You're Nobody 'Til Somebody Kills You, premieres this weekend at Willifest, the Williamsburg International Film Festival in Brooklyn, NY.

Michael A Pinckney wrote and directed the hip hop horror film, which features a cast including Nashawn Kearse, Michael Mosley and Michael K Williams, Big Daddy Kane and Doug E Fresh.

The story is about two New York City homicide detectives tracking a serial killer who murders hip-hop stars.

Gornell and Seldin were executive producers on the Black Noise Media-produced film along with Spike Lee.

"The horror and thriller genres have such loyal and passionate fan bases, we felt the time was right to launch a specialty label to focus on these kinds of feature films," said Seldin, CEO of Locomotive Distribution. …
