Kotting Shooting Waterways Experimental Doc Swandown
Article excerpt
Andrew Kotting is now shooting Swandown, an experimental feature documentary and travelogue.
The Fly Films production is supported by the BFI Film Fund, Channel 4 Britdoc Foundation, Abandon Normal Devices, Cornerhouse Artist Film, and Screen South.
Kotting is writing the project with Iain Sinclair.
Lisa Marie Russo is producing, with Kate Ogborn and Marc Munden executive producing.
The film is described as a poetic diary about encounter and culture. In a nod to Olympic ambition, Kotting and Sinclair are pedalling a swan-shaped pedalo from Hastings to Hackney via inland waterways, sometimes joined by other guests.
