Millennium Takes North American Rights to Intruders

Millennium Entertainment has added Juan Carlos Fresnadillo's thriller to its slate following the world premiere in Toronto. Meanwhile SPC has acquired the lion's share of rights to Neil Young's Journey and Sundance Selects has acquired North America on The Loneliest Planet.

Clive Owen, Carice Van Houten, Daniel Brühl and Pilar López de Ayala star in the story based on a screenplay by Nicolás Casariego and Jaime Marques about two children in different countries who are visited at night by a faceless intruder.

Enrique López Lavigne, Belén Atienza and Mercedes Gamero produced and Jesus de la Vega and Ricardo Garcia Arrojo served as executive producers.

Millennium Entertainment will release the film theatrically in April 2012

"Intruders is an accessible chiller with high entertainment value, but the film is also a smart, psychological journey which will appeal to sophisticated audiences," CEO Bill Lee, said. "The film resonated hauntingly with our team in Toronto, and we're enthused to work with Juan Carlos to bring the film to theatres this spring."
