Yellow Bird's Marianne Gray to Give Key Note Speech at PFM

Producer Marianne Gray of Swedish production company Yellow Bird is to deliver the keynote address at Film London's fifth Production Finance Market (PFM).

Gray brings her knowledge of international co-productions to the event -which takes place October 19-20 during the BFI London Film Festival - having most recently produced Norwegian hit feature Headhunters, which sold to over 40 countries and will have its UK premiere next week at the LFF. The film is to have a US remake via Summit Entertainment.

Yellow Bird was also responsible for the feature adaptations of Stieg Larsson's critically acclaimed Millennium trilogy - released in over 50 countries and the highest grossing series of foreign language films ever made.

Gray is the first female key note speaker at the annual event which this year will see new projects from Gillian Armstrong, John Maybury and Sally Potter being pitched to over 60 financiers including Summit, Ingenious, Entertainment One, Film4, Focus, Newbridge Film Capital and Prescience. …
