My Man Wins Busan Award at Asian Project Market

The 6th Asian Film Market's newly renamed Asian Project Market (APM), formerly known as the Pusan Promotion Plan (PPP), closed with Kumakiri Kazuyoshi's My Man - Watashino Otoko winning the Busan Award.

The APM awards were announced last night (Oct 13) at the Grand Hotel in Haeundae.

Held this year for the first time in the Busan Exhibition Convention Center (BEXCO) with the rest of the Asian Film Market and BIFCOM showcase, APM saw its participants have 670 official meetings, up from 400 last year.

Busan Award winner My Man - Watashino Otoko is about the relationship between a young man and a young girl orphaned after the 1993 earthquake and tsunami in Hokkaido. Award-winning director Kumakiri [pictured] has made previous films including Sketches Of Kaitan City and Hole In The Sky. …
