Helen McCrory to Star in Klimkiewicz's Flying Blind

It is the third film to go into production as part of South West Screen's microbudget scheme iFeatures.

Shooting has begun in Bristol on Flying Blind, the third film to come out of South West Screen's microbudget scheme iFeatures.

Helen McCrory, whose credits include The Queen, Harry Potter and the upcoming Bond film Skyfall, will star in the film alongside Kenneth Cranham, Najib Oudghiri (Rendition) and Tristan Gemmill.

It will be the directorial feature debut of Polish director Kasia Klimkiewicz, whose short film Hanoi Warsaw won the European Film Award for best short in 2010.

Naomi Wallace, Bruce McLeod and Bristol-based writer Caroline Harrington have written the script for the post 9/11 love story about an older woman working for a military manufacturer who embarks on a passionate affair with a French Algerian student only to discover that he may not be what he seems. …
