Liddell's new company adds another buyer to the ranks as the industry prepares for Sundance. Former Paramount Clasics co-head and experienced distribution and marketing consultant David Dinerstein is installed as head of the new company which will release Toronto pick-up Killer Joe starring Matthew McConaughey.

LD Distribution will also release Henry-Alex Rubin's recently wrapped thriller Disconnect starring Jason Bateman and Alexander Skarsgard and horror film The Collection, from Saw IV, V and VI writers Marcus Dunstan and Patrick Melton.

The company plans to release four to six films in the first year. Liddell Entertainment's fast growing production slate means it aims to produce four to six titles a year budgeted at up to $25m.
