PCCW, Abundance and Tomson Announced New Asian Talent Business

Hong Kong's telecom and media conglomerate PCCW, producer Terence Chang's Abundance Entertainment and Tomson International Entertainment are setting up a joint venture Asian talent business, ATN Talent Management Ltd.

Terence Chang [pictuerd], the producer who has produced most of John Woo's films; Albert Tong, CEO of Tomson International Entertainment and son of well-know Taiwanese actress Hsu Feng; and Ho Lai-chuen, PCCW Media's TV & New Media's Executive Vice President have announced the joint venture at a press event held in Beijing.

The new venture has now recruited more than a dozen talents from Hong Kong, Taiwan, China and South Korea, including Korea's So Ji-sub (Rough Cut, Sophie's Revenge), Song Hye-kyo (The Grandmasters), who will star in John Woo's new drama 1949; Hong Kong action stars Chiu Man-Cheuk (True Legend), Jimmy Wang (Wu Xia), new actors Denny Huang and Peggy Tseng from Taiwan and mainland new talents Yang Zishan, Zhou Hong and Chinese filmmaker Faye Yu (Eternal Beloved). …
