My Brother the Devil Wins Berlin Europa Cinemas Label

The film has been written and directed by British director (and former Screen Star of Tomorrow) Sally El Hosaini.

Sally El Hosaini's debut feature My Brother The Devil has won the Europa Cinemas Label for Best European Film in the Panorama Section at the Berlin Film Festival.

The prize means that the film will now receive support from the Europa Cinemas Network with promotion and incentives for exhibitors to extend the film's run on screen.

The jury, made up of four exhibitors from the Europa Cinemas Network - Giacomo Caldarelli - Cinema Zenith (Italy), Sylvain Chevreton - Le Méliès (France), Jörg Jacob - Provinz 80 Programmkino GmbH - (Germany) and Markus Wille - Filmclub im Takino (Lichtenstein) - described the film as a "refreshingly subtle film from a very talented new British filmmakers. …
