The International Documentary Film Festival Amsterdam (IDFA) has announced the 20 projects that received a total of [euro]212,000 in the latest funding round from the Jan Vrijman Fund.

There had been 401 projects from 40 countries submitted.

The selection committee included Ally Derks (director of IDFA and JVF); Adriek van Nieuwenhuijzen (head of Industry IDFA); Barbara Truyen (commissioning editor VPRO); Carmen Cobos (producer Cobosfilms); Denis Vaslin (producer Volya Films); Isabel Arrate Fernandez (manager Jan Vrijman Fund); Martijn te Pas (Programme Coordinator IDFA); Nick Ware (documentary consultant) and Steven Markovitz (producer Big World Cinema).
