British Film Commission to Recruit for New EVP of US Production

The British Film Commission will soon start recruiting for a successor to Andy Weltman, the former EVP of US production.

Senior Executive Tara Halloran will continue to run the BFC's LA operations, alongside Senior Production Executive, Samantha Perahia, in the UK. The BFC will continue to be overseen by Chief Executive Adrian Wootton and Chair Iain Smith.

Weltman is leaving the BFC after four years to head Pinewood's LA office.

The BFC will be recruiting for Weltman's successor shortly.

Adrian Wootton, Chief Executive of the British Film Commission said: "Andy's contribution to the BFC has been phenomenal over the last four years. He has also done a sterling job working with our industry partners to help make the case to Government over the tax incentive for TV which was included in the UK's budget last week. …
