Marc-Daniel Dichant to Oversee Expansion at Falcom Media

Marc-Daniel Dichant has joined producer-distributor Falcom Media to oversee an expansion of its production output.

A graduate of German Film & Television Academy (dffb), Dichant has been working until now at the Berlin/Halle-based production house Schmidtz Katze Filmkollektiv with responsibility for script development and a particular focus on international co-productions.

His most recent projects were Lisa Ohlin's Simon And The Oaks and Agnieszka Holland's Oscar-nominated In Darkness.

At Falcom Media, Dichant will be in charge of future in-house productions as well as co-productions with national or international partners.

Falcom Media's previous productions included Swiss-born Alain Gsponer's 2009 romantic comedy My Words, My Lies - My Love (Lila Lila), starring Daniel Brühl and Hannah Herzsprung, and Austrian director Harald Sicheritz's 2010 comedy 3faltig with Christian Tramitz and Matthias Schweighöfer. …
