Open Road Takes US Rights to Silent Hill: Revelation 3D

The distributor will release wide on Oct 26 the latest entry in the horror franchise from Samuel Hadida of Davis Films and Don Carmody. Lionsgate handles international sales.

Michael J Bassett directed the follow-up to the $100m global hit Silent Hill, based on the Konami video game. The new entry features returning cast members Sean Bean, Deborah Kara Unger and Radha Mitchell alongside Adelaide Clemens, Kit Harington, Carrie-Anne Moss and Malcolm McDowell.

In Silent Hill: Revelation 3D (pictured) Heather Mason is on the run from strange forces with her father and learns about her true identity on the eve of her eighteenth birthday.
