Fortissimo Takes on Antonio Campos' Simon Killer

IFC already has North American rights.

Fortissimo Films has acquired international rights to Antonio Campos' Simon Killer, which played in competition at Sundance.

IFC Films has already taken North American rights and plans a domestic theatrical launch this autumn.

Campos' follow-up to his acclaimed debut Afterschool, Simon Killer is produced by Josh Mond and Sean Durkin of Borderline Films, and Matt Palmieri, who also financed the film through his FilmHaven Entertainment banner. Those companies previously collaborated on Martha Marcy May Marlene.

Brady Corbet, Mati Diop, Solo, Michael Abiteboul, Constance Rousseau and Lila Salet star.

The story follows a young man who goes to Paris after a bad breakup with his girlfriend; he falls in love with a mysterious prostitute.
