Screen casts a glance over the international box office.

Outside of The Avengers continued dominance of the international arena, Warner Bros' Dark Shadows was this week's highest new entry, scaring up $37.3m from its 42 territories in second. Two other new entries planted themselves in the top ten: Yash Raj's romantic drama Ishaqzaade charted sixth after taking over $3m in India, while Kadokawa distributed horror Sadako 3D in Japan for a $3.1m debut, enough for seventh position internationally. Constantin Film's comedy Das Hochzeitsvideo could only manage an eighth place opening in Germany, grossing just over $250,000. Majestic's German-Russian production Lost In Siberia enjoyed a better performance, corralling a $3,478 site average from its 72 locations in ninth. …
