One chapter discusses current laws governing social media and another makes general recommendations for administrators and educators. A chapter on teacher behaviors and boundaries offers a useful discussion of whether or not a teacher should connect to students via Facebook and other networking sites.

Another chapter includes "reasonable questions" to ask the school information technology help desk concerning firewalls, antivirus and monitoring software, establishment of written policies regarding cell phones and computer-based technology. …
