Innovative Interfaces, Inc. recently completed the development phase for Content Pro IRX, its new institutional repository module. Several library partners have already begun testing the module in beta. IRX, which is designed to simplify how an institution manages its digital collections, will be offered as an optional add-on module to Content Pro, Innovative Interfaces' digital asset management system. * Gale, part of Cengage Learning, released Classroom in Context (CLiC), curriculum-based resources that are designed to supplement textbook content and to enhance learning from Gale's In Context product portfolio. CLiC, which is delivered through a portal, is designed to boost student engagement, provide teachers with the latest digital content, and assist school administrators in making the transition to a digital curriculum. The CLiC product suite now includes high school biology, chemistry, U.S. history, and world history, with earth science and government in the works. * Library customers can now access millions of Associated Press (AP) images through EBSCO Publishing. As the sole library distributor of the AP Images (the commercial photo unit of AP), the new agreement lets EBSCO open a gateway to one of the world's largest collections of historical and contemporary images, some of which date from 100 years ago. The archive is available on APImages.com, but it will be migrated to EBSCO/iost so customers can access the content via EBSCOftost and EBSCO Discovery Service. * DeepDyve, Inc. now offers discounted, downloadable PDFs of its rentable, peer-reviewed journal articles. The company is now a one-stop destination for knowledge workers so they can search, rent, and buy articles in life sciences, technology, medical, and business journals. The company also enhanced its monthly plans and established affordable corporate pricing for companies to deploy DeepDyve 's services. * Data Conversion Laboratory, Inc. (DCL) unveiled another online publishing portal designed to drive dormant content into creating new revenue streams. Convert On Demand, DCL's new web portal, is the second On Demand portal in the product suite (EPUB On Demand was the first). This digital knowledge can now be searched, reorganized, exported into ebooks, and published in nearly all formats. * LibLime officially rolled out LibLime Koha 4.10, which has been in beta-production release since February 2012. The latest version adds a deeper level of support for consortia and enhanced performance for larger collections. LibLime Koha, which continues to run in the Plack environment, provides libraries with advanced functionality and performance in the open development ILS arena. Enhancements include better SIP2 messaging to support connectivity to third-party apps, improved holds management with Ajax, and information about "last borrower linked to" items regardless of patron reading-history retention. * Publishing Technology, PLC and Brill recently launched Brill Online Books and Journals, an aggregated scholarly portal. Brill's content, which includes 20 subject specialties across three imprints (Brill, Global Oriental, and Martinus Nijhoff Publishers), is now integrated into one resource. Users can access the site's 175 journals and 2,400 ebooks, which is equivalent to 150,000-plus chapters and articles. …
