BFC Appoints Kattie Kotok as Executive Vice President US Production

She fills the role previously held by Andy Weltman who left in March to head up Pinewood's LA office.

The British Film Commission (BFC) has appointed Kattie Kotok as the agency's new executive vice president of US Production based in LA.

Taking up the role on July 23, she will be responsible for US business development and client relations, alongside senior production executive Samantha Perahia working out of the UK office and senior executive, Industry Relations Tara Halloran, who is also based in LA.

Kotok joins the BFC from National Geographic Films (NGF), where she was vice president of acquisitions and production, working on titles including March Of The Penguins.

Prior to National Geographic, Kotok worked in film development at Fox Searchlight Pictures and in marketing at Paramount Pictures on titles including One Hour Photo and A Simple Plan.

She replaces Andy Weltman, who left the BFC to head up Pinewood's LA office. …
