As an A level geography teacher I am well aware of the crucial role of case studies in preparing students for exam success and so was delighted to find so many relevant and detailed studies in these books. One of the irritations of the text books written to match exam specifications is the brevity of case studies included, so it is refreshing to see that these case studies are written in some detail. I would, however, welcome more information about where the authors gained their information for each study (such as key websites or articles) for further investigation.

I would definitely recommend using these books to support A level teaching, I asked students from my A2 geography class to review a book each from the series to see if they would be suitable for them to use directly. …
