CMG Closes Crop of International Sales for Eden

EXCLUSIVE: The sex trafficking story premiered at SXSW.

Cinema Management Group (CMG) has closed completed several international deals for Megan Griffiths' Eden, a feature based on the true story of a woman sold enslaved in a sex-trafficking ring in America.

New deals have been done with Benelux (eOne), Japan (Culture Convenience Club), South Korea (Sejong), Middle East (Front Row), and Germany and German-speaking Europe (Ascot Elite). A deal is in play for South Africa.

"We're proud and excited that Eden garnered so much attention with European and Asian buyers, and we think it's a sign that this amazing film will captivate even more sales in Toronto and AFM in the coming months," said CMG President Edward Noeltner.

The film premiered at SXSW, where it received the Audience Award for Best Narrative Feature and Jamie Chung won a Special Jury Award for Best Performance. …
